Odette Agent S 23

A film directed by Herbert Wilcox, this dramatic film from the war era tells the story of a French refugee fleeing the persecution of the Second World War from London. But very quickly, it is returned to infiltration mission in France. She was later captured by the Germans and sent to a concentration camp. She escaped death by claiming to be the wife of Peter Churchill who led the French resistance. It was spared then because the Nazis thought she was part of the British Prime Minister's family.

The film recounts the tasks that Odette Sansom had to lead, the heroine of the story. Before becoming a spy, she worked as a messenger in the Spindle network before being imprisoned in 1943 and then deported to Ravensbrück. Part of the film was shot in Annecy, more precisely in Annecy-Le-Vieux.
