How to get there?

Car: Easily accessible, Annecy is served by the A41 motorway. It takes about 1h30 from Lyon, 5h30 from Paris, 45m from Geneve.

Train: there is a direct TGV from Paris (Gare de Lyon). The journey takes 3h30.

Airport: Annecy has at its disposal Annecy-Meythet Airport. The city is also close to two international airports:

- Geneva International Airport, 45 km from Annecy. During the week, 3 buses a day take you directly to the city center. The journey takes about 2 hours. By car, take the A41 motorway, for a 45m ride. You can also take a taxi coming out of the airport.

- Lyon Saint-Exupéry International Airport, 125 km from Annecy. You can go to Annecy by TGV or regional trains. 

When should we come?

Annecy benefits from a micro climate. Obviously you can get some snow in Annecy during the winter season but the Annecy lake is also quite pleasant during the summer with a temperature that can be above 20°C. You can come summer as winter, depending on the activities you wish to practice. Autumn can be quite rainny so this is the period to avoid.
