For lovers of heritage, Annecy offers its historic center, with its pedestrian medieval alleys, canals, churches, but also its former prisons - the Palais de l'Isle, especially, the fortified manor house located on a small island of Thiou. Do not forget to climb up to the castle, which offers a magnificent view of the city.
