Saint Jorioz's beach

A beautiful spot located in front of Dents de Lanfon and Tournette, the beach of Saint Jorioz is a splendid spot of sand and grass which is favorable for families and children. To demonstrate its high quality, it has been awarded the "Blue Flag" label in 2010. Since then, it is considered to be one of the sites with an exquisite  beauty from all over Europe.

During the months of July and August, rather in the morning of 9:30, the access to the beach of Saint Jorioz is paying. Also, it is a highly guarded place, a lifeboat station, held by competent lifeguards, is ready to intervene in case of trouble.

Relax in the shade of the big trees and make the most of your moments in this little paradise of Annecy where it is pleasant to breathe the iodized air of the sea ... Several play areas are present on the site such as volleyball and petanques strips targeting the most athletic.

In order to brighten up  your day and make of  your moments a real moment of plenitude, a diving board, pontoons and a paddling pool have been created on site. A secure and protected space is also available to accommodate children's games. Showers and sanitary spaces are among other things available to everyone.

If you get peckish, do not hesitate to sit down at the snacks and restaurants found around the beach of Saint Jorioz. Since the city of Annecy wishes that all its visitors with no exceptions can make the moment of a real moment of change of scene, the capital has added a ramp and two amphibian chairs that are designed for the disabled, and these are all  for free in order to facilitate their access to water.

Just a short walk from the beach, you will see  the Roselières trail, where you can explore the entire coastline of the city of Annecy. There, you will also have the opportunity to rent boats ranging from small pinasse to large yachts.
