About Duignt...
This village on the west bank of Lake Annecy deserves its name of "Pearl of the Lake".
Adjacent to St Jorioz, the commune of Duingt (which you will pronounce DOU-IN!), offers an exceptional view of the mountains and the lake. The cycle track linking Annecy to Ugine crosses the village and makes it possible to link the villages along the lake by bike very easily.
Numerous activities are available in Duingt: water activities in summer (Wake Board, water skiing, kayaking, hiking ....); outdoor activities nearby in winter (snowshoe hiking in Semnoz (20mns), downhill skiing in Les Saisies (40mns) or in the resorts of the 3 Valleys (1h approximately))....
Several shops are located in Duingt: the "best baker on the lake shore", a tobacco shop, very good restaurants in particular.
Duingt is obviously an excellent base for pleasant holidays in summer and winter...
