Water sports in Annecy

Annecy is the perfect holiday destination for lovers of water sports. On the lake or in the mountains, give free rein to all your desires. Water-skiing, stand-up paddle, sailing, pedalo, canoe-kayak, canyoning and rafting: you have several choices!

The sailing school of Annecy opens its doors to all sailors, seasoned or beginners. Sailing boat, dinghy, optimist, catamaran, windsurfing, alone or accompanied by professionals ... hoist the sails and go to discover this lake and all the wonders it conceals.The towns along the lake also offer numerous water activities. In Sevrier, for example, you can learn to sail on a catamaran, for a short stroll or for the whole day. If you do not have the feeling of  a sailor, you can also hire a boat with a pilot. In Duingt, discover wakeboarding, wakesurfing, water skiing, or embark on a Hawaiian pirogue! You can also play the tightrope walkers on a stand-up paddle, for a more peaceful stroll.But in Annecy, the lake is not the only meeting place for fans of thrills. The surrounding mountains are also fabulous playgrounds. To discover the canyoning, go in the waterfall of Angon for a descent practicalbe with family (from 10 years). The most experienced will prefer the canyon of Montmin or that of the Pont du Diable.As for  the rafting, you can descend the Isère or the Gorges du Centron ,which is wilder.
