The Ancileviennerie

Are you curious to discover Savoyard folklore? Are you lovers of  local craft? Passionate about farm animals or simply greedy? Rendez-vous in October in Annecy-le-Vieux for the Ancileviennerie. Also called “Fête d'automne” ( Feast of Autumn) and - formerly - Foire d'Albigny, this great event puts the spotlight on the best of Savoyard traditions every year. More than 100 exhibitors meet to present their products - crafts, culinary specialties, etc ... Come and observe animals in a mini-farm reconstituted for the occasion and initiate yourself to the traditional threshing, bread making and the shearing of sheep. Discover the exceptional know-how of local craftsmen, ironworkers, painters, sculptors ... Enjoy, admire, and go to the flea market! And  in the evening, enjoy, the traditional dinner organized under a tent, in the parking "Belle Etoile", in a festive atmosphere!
