Lovers of animation, rendezvous in June in Annecy, where more than 9000 professionals of the sector meet every year.

Born in the 1960s, the Festival of Animated Movie of Annecy is today the international reference in the matter. It attracts more visitors - both general public and professional.

Come to admire the latest animated nuggets, discover the new talents who will get themsleves talked about sooner and meet the most celebrated ones. For five days, immerse yourself in the wonderful world of animation, in a professional and festive atmosphere: run the previews, enjoy outdoor screenings, meet your favorite filmmakers during the signing sessions. Enter the other side of the stage and discover the techniques of making films, from script to production, through lectures, film lessons, Making of, Work in progress Feasture, Work in progress TV, Animation will no longer have secrets for you!

But the Festival d'Annecy is also an International Market (the Mifa), which welcomes every year more than 550 international companies. From the American most celebrated ones (Disney, Pixar, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, etc ...), to the smallest companies, which have nothing to be ashamed of in comparison to them in terms of creativity, the Festival gathers all the great diversity of the sector.

Every year, a very rich program is offered, around several themes at the honor: Woman and animation and Spain in 2015, French animation, advertising animation and the year France-Korea in 2016 ... At the end of the Festival, two prizes are awarded to key figures in animation: the “Cristal d'honneur “ and the Mifa & Variety's Animation Personality of the Year.
