Hiking in Annecy

Annecy surroundings

Breathtaking panoramas, beautifully preserved flora, wild animals but not likely to be fierce, the lake which sparkles in the course of each path and above all this sensation of absolute freedom: there are a thousand reasons to walk around the lake Of Annecy. Hikers, you will get many choices: sporting trail, family walking, special hiking "postcard photographs", etc ... No reason to stay bubbling at the beach!

For families with children, try the Roc de Chère hiking in Talloires. You will cross a great diversity of landscapes: meadows with orchids, Mediterranean forest, peat bog, etc ... Adults and children alike will be very happy  thanks to the wonderful views offered from the belvederes. An easy walk, but full of pretty surprises. You can also try the stroll as far as to the cascade of Angon,  whose waterfalls, nearly 60m high, are an inexhaustible source of amazement for children. From Tallloires, this hike of approximately 45 minutes is also relatively easy.

For an exceptional view without too much effort, think of the plateau of Semnoz, from which you can admire the lake, the Bauges and even the Mont Blanc! For the children, the alpine pastures remain a sure value.

More sporting, the hike of the Parmelan can however be made according to several routes: leaving the chalet de l'Anglette, you will enjoy a more mild drop in altitude by the Grand Montoir, do not forget your chains!

Prone to dizziness, go on your way! The loop of Mont-Baron reserves steep hillsides . But the panorama on the plateau of Beauregard, the col des Aravis and the Mont Blanc is worth a look.

The ascent of La Tournette (2450m), finally, promises you a unique point of view on all the surrounding mountains, including the Mont Blanc. Choose your route: some are longer, but also easier than others (from Thônes and from Montmin, for example).
