There are several paths leading from the house to the village, a 15-minute walk away. The house offers some superb views of the lake and the Alps. Simple, but endearing and well designed, the house would be an ideal pied-à-terre for those who want to take advantage of all the region has to offer in the way of leisure activities. Other services are also available on demand when you reserve.The long driveway leading up to the house and the bucolic setting provide the property with privacy and peace and quiet. The village of Talloires, with its many shops, cafes and restaurants, is only one km away. You can walk there by following the footpaths. There are many hiking trails right near the house that will take you up to the mountains, Saint-Germain and Ponnay. Lake Annecy is pure heaven for nature and outdoor sports enthusiasts: biking, paragliding, water sports, adventure circuits. Talloires has three beaches, carefully monitored and paying in the summer, complete with swimming lessons, diving boards, children’s pools and wading pools, beach volleyball courts and petanque fields. Volleyballs and Ping-Pong paddles are available on loan. It takes about 15 minutes by road to get to Annecy, and an hour to Geneva.
